In my days in Tokyo Polytechnic University's animation major, the first class to graduate had quite a lot of unique characters in my teaching group to become in a wide area of animation. Kaneko-kun is one of them, and as he is in an ongoing project now, I wish him the very best. From now on, it is not an era to say what a Japanese Anime is all about, but more fun projects should be released across the border to gather great staff to make great animation to be released globally. New type of producers are coming out, and I expect very high of the next generation animation.

I myself, though it being a different genre between live action film and animation, I am creating my work while seeking a new system on a relation between the creator and the audience. As day and night cannot be separated, major movie and indies movie does not have a clear boundary and by bringing in what is good on both sides will perhaps create a great work after all. I am cheering that a project which goes through the new horizon will become one of the success stories.

I had known YOSHIKO through Tokyo Polytechnic Univ. He is a rare person who has a vision expanding globally, and has potential. As Japanimation is being praised, it is degrading at the same time. I do not think 3D is superior and there are bigger potentials for 2D. The awareness of 1.4billion chinese youngsters and the passion of youth of Asian and European countries toward anime is amazing. I hope the young power will break through the occluded anime industry. I am cheering YOSHIKO and his team for the lust for new animation work.

It is so hard to finish an original work. It takes time and money, and you need a strong spirit to do so. With all these obstacles, there is still a message you want to send out, and the will to do so should reach peoples' heart. Living in modern times I am truly expecting to see what YOSHIKO is thinking, and how his view is transformed into Anime one day.
